I think independence is moving forward even when the road seems a bit "iffy"...when there are no guarantees, and you must stand tall even if you're a bit wobbly.

Independence is being self-sustaining. It's not being afraid to go after something alone, and without a safety net.I believe this drawing represents that. It pictures a being who shunned society, and relies completely on himself and his abilities to survive.

Fit to be a KingYou're self-proclaimed,
you should be of flesh yet flame;
subjects are for you and you should be for them.
I see wrinkles and frowns!
yet you wanna run this town;
as time elapses, you get memories turn into mayhem.
I see thirst and hunger,
yet you talk of nuclear power;
with a hidden agenda, you're on a fake crusade.
When they call for millet,
you stove into 'em bullets;
human rights go broke and salvation fade.
They take to the store,
cartloads of printed notes,
to buy a piece o' bread and keep their heads.
The youths are wasted,
clamouring for getting educated,
into the sidewalks of economy, they're led.
You switch on the light,
as soon as the Sun bids goodbye,
your walls are fortified and you feel shy.
Night's a realm of darkness,
streets, teeming with wickedness,
paranoia gets you to deploy an eye for an eye .
You let the borders open,
peace and content vapours in the Sun,
and people on the streets cry "Mayday! Mayday! " .
You say long prayers,
go back and train slayers
greed blind
